Dr Heyes is a Specialist Dermatologist.
He obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Australia (UWA) in addition to an honours degree in Medical Science and a Bachelor of Arts (History). After working at Fremantle Hospital, he subsequently obtained a Masters degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Dr Heyes has completed his dermatology specialist training in Victoria working at Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Alfred Hospital, Peter MacCullum Cancer Centre and Royal Children’s Hospital. Upon completion of his training he was awarded both the FACD Travelling Fellowship (for highest overall score in national Fellowship Exams) and the Founder’s Medal for Surgery, enabling him to pursue a fellowship in the United States.
Dr Heyes has an interest in all aspects of skin disease with sub-specialty interests in:
- Skin Cancer and Melanoma
- Cutaneous Surgery
- Paediatric Dermatology
He endeavours to provide a friendly and professional service to his patients.
