Dr Tony Caccetta is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, sub-specialising in oncodermatology (cancer dermatology).

He graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005.  Dr Caccetta completed his internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) in 2006 and was nominated for Intern of the Year. Following this and after successful selection in the highly competitive Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) national dermatology training program in 2009, he completed his specialist training and examinations, to be awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) in 2012.

Dr Caccetta is an experienced and highly skilled procedural oncodermatologist who has worked at Perth Dermatology Clinic since 2013.  He is the Medical Director of Perth Dermatology Clinic and Day Hospital (2014-current).  He is an Adjunct  Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia (2024-present).  He currently serves on the Australasian College of Dermatologists Digital Health Committee (2019-present).

Dr Caccetta is a past Western Australian 40 under 40 award recipient (2020) and has served on various boards and committees in the healthcare sector, including as  past Chair of the WA Faculty of Dermatology (2018-2020), ACD Expert Advisory Committe (2023- 2026), previous panel member of the Western Australian Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service (WAKMAS, 2018-2021) and past National Director of Day Hospitals Australia ( 2018-2021).  Dr Caccetta has also previously worked as a Consultant Dermatologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (2013-2018), facilitated the inaugural ACD Dermoscopy Training Course in Western Australia for General Practitioners (2018) and provided visiting dermatology services to the Wheatbelt Region (Northam, Merredin and Narrogin Hospitals) for over a decade (2013 – 2025).

Dr Caccetta provides the following services at Perth Dermatology Clinic:

  • Surgery for Melanoma and Skin Cancer (with choice of local anaesthesia or intravenous sedation in our licensed and accredited day procedure centre)
  • Rapid Access Lesion Clinic (for diagnosis and management of suspected melanoma or other skin cancers, seen within 1 week)
  • Rapid Access Cutaneous Toxicity Clinic (for diagnosis and management of skin rashes related to cancer treatments, seen within 1 week)
  • Total Body Photography Surveillance (for patients with dysplastic naevus syndrome or multiple naevi/moles)
  • Axillary Hyperhidrosis/Excessive Sweating Management (botulinum toxin injections)
