Dr Tony Caccetta is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
He graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005. After successful selection in the highly competitive Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) national dermatology training program, he completed his specialist training and examinations to be awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) in 2012.
Dr Caccetta is a procedural dermatologist working in private practice. His practice focus is the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and melanoma. Dr Caccetta is also highly experienced in the management of excessive sweating with botulinum toxin injection; phototherapy for eczema, psoriasis and vitiligo; biologic therapy for psoriasis and acne management with isotretinoin. He also provides a visiting rural dermatology service to the Wheatbelt towns of Merredin, Northam and Narrogin.
Dr Caccetta provides teaching and education in the specialty of dermatology. He currently presents the WA Practical Dermoscopy Course for the Australian College of Dermatologists (ACD); he has been a regular invited specialist speaker for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and also teaches dermatology trainees/registrars in Western Australia.
Dr Caccetta is the Chairman of the WA Faculty of Dermatology; Board Director of Day Hospitals Australia; Clinical Consultant Dermatologist WAKMAS (Western Australia Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service) and Medical Director of Perth Dermatology Clinic.
