Dr Tony Caccetta is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

He graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005.  After successful selection in the highly competitive Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) national dermatology training program, he completed his specialist training and examinations to be awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) in 2012.

Dr Caccetta is the WA Faculty Chairman of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, WA Director of Day Hospitals Australia and Medical Director of Perth Dermatology Clinic and Day Hospital.

Dr Caccetta is a procedural dermatologist working in private practice since 2013.  He is highly skilled in the diagnosis of skin cancer and melanoma and specialises in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of skin cancer.  He is also highly experienced in the management of excessive sweating with botulinum toxin injection and iontophoresis.  He provides phototherapy services for the treatment of eczema, psoriasis and vitiligo.  He is a provider of biologic therapy for psoriasis and oral isotretinoin for the management of acne.  Dr Caccetta provides a monthly visiting rural dermatology service to the Wheatbelt as a visiting specialist to Merredin, Northam and Narrogin Hospitals.

Dr Caccetta has previously worked in the public sector as a Consultant Dermatologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital 2013-2018.  Dr Caccetta joined the multidisciplinary Western Australia Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service (WAKMAS) in 2018 as a Clinical Consultant Dermatologist.  Dr Caccetta also pursues his interests in technology and artificial intelligence relevant to dermatology.  Dr Caccetta provides education and teaching in the specialty of dermatology.  He delivered the inaugural Practical Dermoscopy Course for the Australian College of Dermatologists (ACD) in Western Australia and has been a regular invited specialist speaker for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
