Dr Tony Caccetta is a Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.

He graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005.  After successful selection in the highly competitive Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) national dermatology training program, he completed his specialist training and examinations to be awarded Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD) in 2012.

Dr Caccetta is a procedural dermatologist working in private practice since 2013.

He is highly skilled in the diagnosis of melanoma and skin cancer and specialises in surgical and non-surgical treatment of cancer.  He is experienced in the  removal and reconstruction of skin cancer, performing over 600 surgical cases per year.  Dr Caccetta is the Medical Director of Perth Dermatology Clinic and Day Hospital.  He is also a Clinical Consultant Dermatologist at the Western Australia Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service (WAKMAS).

Dr Caccetta is highly experienced in the management of excessive sweating with sweat stopping injections and iontophoresis.  He has performed over 1000 treatments with botulinum toxin injection for underarm sweating and offers iontophoresis therapy for excessive sweating of the hands and feet.  He also manages excessive scalp and facial sweating with sweat stopping injections.

Dr Caccetta performs vascular laser treatments for rosacea, sun damage, broken capillaries and other conditions for both adults and children using the gold standard pulsed dye vascular laser (Candela V Beam Perfecta).

He also provides phototherapy services for the treatment of eczema and psoriasis in both Perth and Kalgoorlie.  He is a provider of life changing biologic therapy for severe psoriasis and oral isotretinoin for the management of difficult to control or maintain acne.

Dr Caccetta provides a rural dermatology service to the Wheatbelt and Goldfields as a visiting and telehealth specialist to Merredin, Northam, Narrogin and Kalgoorlie Hospitals.

He has previously worked in the public sector as a Consultant Dermatologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital 2013-2018 and also delivered the inaugural Australian College of Dermatologists (ACD) Practical Dermoscopy course in Western Australia in 2017.  Dr Caccetta is past Chairman of the WA Faculty of Dermatology, serves on various boards and committees in the healthcare sector and was a 40under40 award recipient in 2020.
